What is Yin?

Yin yoga is so much more than deep stretch. it is a practice rooted in years of history and tradition. It work with the meridian lines in the body drawing on wisdom from ancient healing practices to move Qi (energy) through our bodies. This practice uses traditional set postures that are mostly seated or laying down to improve tissue function, joint health, and vitality in the body.

Why this training?

This training will combine Yin methods and teachings with Mindfulness practices to support you in connecting deeper to this practice so you can support your students in mind, body and spirit.

Truama Informed Yoga Teacher

Registered Social Worker

Josee truama informed yoga teaching piece of YTT.

Her yoga journey began about 9 years ago in which she found the gentleness of the practice, and the focus on body and breath to be very healing and soothing.

She continued this practice throughout University and developed a true passion for the teachings, philosophy, and history of yoga, therefore she decided to embark on the journey of becoming a yoga teacher during her undergrad.

Once she began teaching, I knew that I had found something that I really enjoyed, and the training allowed her to take her personal practice deeper, as well as share it with others.
